Piping: Plastic markers for coding pipe shall conform to ANSI A13.1 and shall be as <br /> 36 manufactured by W.H. Brady Company, Seton Name Plate corporation, or equal. Markers <br /> 37 shall be the mechanically attached type that are easily removable; they shall not be the <br /> 38 adhesive applied type. Markers shall consist of pressure sensitive legends applied to plastic <br /> 39 backing which is strapped or otherwise mechanically attached to the pipe. Legend and <br /> 40 backing shall be resistant to petroleum based oils and grease and shall meet criteria for <br /> 41 humidity, solar radiation, rain, salt, fog and leakage fungus, as specified by MIL-STD-810C. <br /> 42 Markers shall withstand a continuous operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to <br /> 43 +180 degrees F.
