11. Engine running time meter. <br /> 12. Voltage adjust rheostat, +/- 5% range. <br /> 13. A dual redundant set of lights shall be installed to illuminate all gauges, meters, and <br /> controls on the instrument panel. These lights shall be powered by the engine batteries <br /> 1 and activated with a switch located on the control panel. <br /> 2.6 ACCESSORIES <br /> A. The following engine generator accessories shall be provided and installed <br /> 1. Noise Reduction Attachments: These shall consist of a critical-rated exhaust silencer <br /> vibration isolators. The noise emitted by the engine generator exhaust silencer shall be <br /> limited to 85 dba as measured at 10 feet from any edge of the engine/generator. <br /> ' 2. Exhaust Silencer: A critical type silencer including flexible stainless steel exhaust piping <br /> &fittings properly sized and installed according to the manufacturer's recommendation. <br /> The silencer shall be coated to be temperature and rust resistant. Gasproof, seamless, <br /> stainless steel, flexible exhaust connector(s) ending in pipe thread or SAE flange shall be <br /> used. <br /> 3. Weatherproof Enclosure: This outdoor enclosure shall house the engine, generator, <br /> control&instrument panel, and all accessories. The enclosure shall have 14 to 18 gauge <br /> construction. All metal surfaces shall be painted with rust inhibiting primer and an <br /> exterior coat of enamel. The side and rear panels shall be hinged and removable for easy <br /> servicing. All panels shall have lockable latches to prevent tampering and unauthorized <br /> entry.Louvers shall be provided at generator and radiator ends to provide ample air flow <br /> to insure proper cooling, without having to remove or vent side panels. All servicable <br /> ' parts or devices in the enclosure shall be accessible when the access doors of the unit are <br /> open. <br /> ' 4. Exhaust Stack Pipe: An exhaust stack pipe and rain cap to connect to the engine exhaust <br /> silencer. The silencer, stack, and exhaust piping shall be sized to insure that measured <br /> exhaust back pressure does not exceed the manufacturer's maximum limitation. <br /> 1 <br /> ENGINE GENERATOR <br /> ' 11500 - 15 <br />
