SECTION 15041 <br /> 3 REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 PART 1: GENERAL <br /> 7 <br /> 8 1.01 DESCRIPTION <br /> 10 The work of this section consists of furnishing and installing reinforced concrete pipe. <br /> u9 <br /> 12 1.02 SUBMITTALS <br /> 13 <br /> 14 A. Manufacturer's literature and certificates of compliance with the reference standards for <br /> 15 pipe, fittings, and couplings. <br /> 1 1s <br /> 17 B. Manufacturer's installation instructions or guide. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 C. Manufacturer shall submit detailed drawings of all pipe, fittings, and line layouts for RCP <br /> 20 showing curves and manholes prior to manufacturing and testing. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 1.03 PRODUCT HANDLING <br /> ' 23 <br /> 24 Delivery: Handle pipe carefully to insure delivery at the project site in sound, undamaged <br /> 25 condition. Engineer will reject damaged pipe on site. Contractor shall replace damaged <br /> 26 pipe at no additional expense to the Agency. <br /> 27 <br /> zs 1.04 TESTING <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Factory testing shall conform to the requirements of ASTM C150, ASTM C76, AWWA C302, <br /> 31 AWWA C205, ASTM C88, ASTM C33, ASTM C131, or AWSD 1.0 as applicable. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 <br /> 34 PART 2: MATERIALS <br /> 35 <br /> 36 2.01 REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Reinforced concrete pipe shall conform to ASTM C361, Reinforced Concrete Low Head <br /> 39 Pressure Pipe. The pipe shall be designed for the depth of cover shown on the Drawings <br /> 40 or ten feet of cover, whichever is greater, and 50 feet of internal water pressure. The <br /> 41 cement shall be Class II. The minimum wall thickness shall be Wall "B". <br /> 42 <br /> ' 43 2.02 FITTINGS AND JOINTS <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Fittings shall be fabricated mortar lined and coated steel conforming to the requirements <br /> 46 set forth in Section 15055.
