! A manual output voltage adjustment potentiometer shall be provided on each power supply. <br /> All power supplies shall be U.L. recognized. Power supply shall be Power-One "International <br /> Series Linear", Acopian Series "A", or approved equal. <br /> 2.11 MAIN SWITCHBOARD "MS" <br /> A. General <br /> 1. Furnish a free-standing, dead-front type, with a utility meter section and main breaker <br /> section. Voltage rating shall be 480 volt, 3 phase, 4 wire. Amperage rating shall be <br /> a continuous 400 amps. It shall consist of the required number of vertical sections <br /> bolted together to form s rigid assembly. <br /> 2. The main switchboard shall comply with the latest applicable standards of NEMA PB- <br /> 2 and UL Standard 981. The assembly shall bear a UL label. <br /> ' 3. The main switchboard shall be suitable for use as service entrance equipment and be <br /> labelled in accordance with UL requirements. <br /> 4. Small wiring, necessary fuse blocks and terminal blocks within the switchgear shall <br /> be furnished as required. Control components mounted within the assembly, such as <br /> fuse blocks, relays, pushbuttons, switches, etc., shall be suitable marked for <br /> ! identification corresponding to appropriate designations on manufacturer's wiring <br /> diagrams. <br /> 5. The assembly shall be provided with adequate lifting means and shall be capable of <br /> being moved into installation position and bolted directly to the floor without the use <br /> of floor sills. All necessary hardware to secure the assembly in place shall be <br /> provided by the Contractor. <br /> ' 6. The switchgear shall be arranged as shown on Contract drawings. If the proposed <br /> switchgear or meter arrangements are significantly different from those shown on the <br /> Contract drawings, then the Contractor shall consult with the Engineer and provide <br /> proposed layout drawings prior to bidding. <br /> 7. The switchboard manufacturer shall cooperate with the Contractor by promptly <br /> supplying dimensional or other required information prior to delivery of equipment. <br /> 8. The manufacturer of the complete assembly shall be the manufacturer of the circuit <br /> breaker contained therein.
