5. The Contractor shall give the Owner 5 days notice of the dates and time for inspections <br /> ' and operational testing. <br /> B. FAILURE TO MEET TEST <br /> 1. Any system material or workmanship which is found defective on the basis of acceptance <br /> I tests shall be reported to the Owner. The Contractor shall replace the defective material <br /> or equipment and have tests repeated until test proves satisfactory to the Owner without <br /> additional cost to the Owner. <br /> ' C. SAFETY <br /> 1. Testing shall conform to the respective manufacturer's recommendations. All <br /> manufacturer's safety precautions shall be followed. <br /> 2. The procedures stated herein are guidelines for the intended tests, the Contractor shall <br /> be responsible to modify these tests to fit the particular application and ensure personnel <br /> safety. Absolutely no tests shall be performed that endanger personal safety. <br /> 1 3. California Electrical Safety Orders (ESO) and Occupational Safety and Health Act <br /> (OSHA): The Contractor is cautioned that testing and equipment shall comply with ESO <br /> and OSHA as to safety, clearances, padlocks and barriers around electrical equipment <br /> energized during testing. <br /> ' D. INSPECTIONS <br /> 1. Visual and mechanical inspections: <br /> ' a. Inspect for physical damage, proper anchorage and grounding. <br /> ' b.
