SECTION 01010 3 GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS 4 5 s PART 1: GENERAL 7 8 1.01 DESCRIPTION s 10 This section covers the general requirements for the Contractor's temporary facilities at the 11 job site and for the prosecution of the work. 12 1 13 1.02 ACCESS TO THE SITES 14 15 Access to the sites shall be as shown on the plans or as directed by the Engineer. ' 1s 17 PART 2: PRODUCTS 18 I 19 2.01 MATERIALS 20 21 See Divisions 2 through 16 for materials and methods of installation. 22 23 PART 3: INSTALLATION 24 25 3.01 CONTRACTOR'S PLANT AND EQUIPMENT 26 27 A. Security: The Contractor shall at all times be responsible for the security of his plant and 28 equipment. The Owner will not take any responsibility for missing or damaged equipment, 29 tools or personal belongings. 30 31 B. Office: During the performance of the contract, the Contractor shall maintain a suitable 32 office at the site of the work which shall be the headquarters of the Contractor's 33 representative. 34 35 C. Workshop and Storage Facilities: The Contractor shall provide storage buildings for the 36 protection of equipment, materials, supplies and tools and shall insure that the building 37 used for the storage of materials which deteriorate when exposed to moisture is 38 moistureproof. Workshops and storage buildings shall be located as designated by the 39 Engineer, and shall be clean and in proper order at all times. 40 41 D. Parking Facilities: Parking areas at the project location for the automobiles used by the 42 Contractor's construction employees and his own vehicles shall be designated by the 43 Engineer. 44 45 E.
