1 shall be prepared and signed by an Engineer who is registered as a Civil or Structural <br /> 2 Engineer in the State of California. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 C. In addition, the Contractor shall obtain, pay for, and comply with all provisions of the permit <br /> 5 required by Section 6500 of the California Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1973. <br /> s <br /> 7 D. In accordance with the provisions of Section 6707 of the State Labor Code, each bidder <br /> 8 shall list, in the Bid Items indicated, the amount contained in his proposal for adequate <br /> 9 trench and excavation, sheeting, shoring, and bracing or equivalent method for the <br /> 10 protection of life and limb which shall conform to applicable Safety Orders. By listing this <br /> 11 sum in his proposal, the bidder warrants that his action does not convey tort liability to the <br /> 12 Owner, the Owner's employees, or the Engineer. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 3.12 CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS MEETINGS <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Construction progress meetings will be held by the Engineer once every two weeks on the <br /> 17 job site, which the Contractor (including any subcontractors and/or personnel familiar with <br /> 1s a particular portion of the work as requested by the Engineer) shall be required to attend. <br /> 19 Agenda will be issued by the Engineer at least one day prior to the meeting date.
