1
r
further site assesment work does not appear necessary.
It is also believed that there is little threat of further
impaction of the groundwater since the source of the
contamination, the UST, has been removed, and the remaining
' pollutants appear to mostly contained in highly impervious clays.
However, the concentrations of both BTEX & gasoline found in some
of the water & soil samples do exceed allowable limits as
' currently listed in the LOFT manual .
RECOMMENDATIONS:
' No specific recommendations for soil and water remediation are
being made at this time. It is requested that both the client
' and the staff of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Divison review this report in detail , at which time a meeting is
suggested between WJH, the client, and the EHD staff . At that
time possible approaches to removing contamination can be
' discussed, and appropriate steps taken to accomplish the task.
Although there is evidence that the groundwater in the area has
been impacted, we have not seat a copy of this report to the
Central Valley Region of the RWQCB. We can furnish your office
with another copy if you wish.
' Your timely review and response to this report will be greatly
appreciated.
' Si a y,
V + d
r W i m J.
