'9't. <br /> From: Nuel Henderson <br /> Subject: Sites Identified for Closure by the State Cleanup Fund <br /> This memo is in response to your inquiry jto me on July 13, 2010, concerning ,the current <br /> status of the 24 sites identified by Bob Tommer by email on February 18,'2010 as being <br /> ready for closure. I had provided Mr. Trommer the then current status of each site and <br /> estimates of the timeframe to close 19 of those sites, the remaining five requiring more <br /> extensive corrective action.,Ms.%Barbara Evoy, of the. State Cleanup Fund, issued a <br /> letter to you dated April 21, 2010,, informing EHD that these 19 sites'are subject to <br /> potential closure..bywthe State Board if we do not get them closed ourselves. I have <br /> reviewed the current'status of the 19 sites and found our progress toward closure as <br /> noted below. ,� g <br /> Three have been closed: <br /> • 2360 East Street- <br /> • 1207 Aurora Street - <br /> • 15600 Har Ian..Road. <br /> Three will be closed as soon as documentation of the disposal of the wastes associated <br /> with the monitoring well destructions has been received (closures,are imminent): <br /> 110 N. Filbert Street <br /> 814 E. Charter Way ; r <br /> • 1501 W..Charter Way <br /> Two sites are ready to have 30-day closure notifications prepared to send to Regional <br /> Board: <br /> • 632 S. El Dorado Street <br /> • 444 W. Mossdale Road. <br /> Four sites have been or will soon be directed to submit a Site Closure Summary Report <br /> or a No Further Action Request Report: <br /> • 5491 F Street <br /> 574 Grant Line Road <br /> 4100 E. Fremont Street <br /> • 545 E. Miner Avenue. <br />
