The nondetect results of the confirmation soil sampling demonstrate that any potential
threat to groundwater has sufficiently been abated by this action.
Therefore, with the provision that the information provided to this agency was accurate and
representative of existing conditions, PHSIEHD has concluded that the site will not be added to the
local contaminated data base list, nor will it be referred to any state agency for follow up.
Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any liability under the California Health and
Safety Code or the Water Code for past, present, or future operations at the site. Nor does it alleviate
the responsibility to clean up existing, additional or previously unidentified conditions at the site which
cause or threatens to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose a threat to water quality or public
health.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss this letter in more detail, please contact Linda Turkatte,
Senior RENS, at (209) 468-3441.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
c: CVRWQCB, Wendy Cohen
c: Wright Environmental Services, Lester Messina
A Division of San Joaquin County Heaith Care Services
