This was excavated, as <br /> recommended in the prior report. "Phase II- Report u; 10, <br /> 19.95, in order to remove residual concentrations of Motor i'lil mid or t:he elevated Motor <br /> Oil detections identified in the above referenced rep;;rt. All excavating, equipment was <br /> conducted and managed by fIKM Groundwater(IIKNt, <br /> Atter the initial removal of 43 cubic yards (c.y.) of soil on October 16, 1995, an additional <br /> 78 c.y. of soil were removed and stockpiled directly adjacent on the north and east side of <br /> the vacant lot (Figure 2). .A total of - 121 c.y. of contaminated soil was removed and <br /> stockpiled on, and irrnnediately covered with, visqueen. <br /> Five(5) soil samples, one sample per each 25 cubic yards, in compliance with San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental health Department (SJC-EH )) regulations; were taken to <br /> characterize the soils for hazardous waste disposal (Table 1). An additional composite <br /> sampling for TTLC Metals analysis was required by Forward Landfill prior to disposal of <br /> the soils (Table 1 under TTLC Comp.). <br /> The property parcel is located on the southern side of the vacant lot located at 2480 N. <br /> Tracy Blvd., Tracy, California (APN: 214-049-2), see Figures 1, 7 and 3. <br /> I' <br /> Prior Work <br /> On September 28, 1995, two separate hand borings, fill- 1@19" and HB-2@10", were <br /> conducted to a depth ofnine(9) and ten (l0)inches b.g.l., respectively.
