Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc .
01 January 2008
AGE-NC Project No. 97-0249
Mr. Mike Infuma
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
600 East Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202
Subject: Request for Reduction in Quarterly Monitoring Frequency
THREE B'S TRUCK PLAZA, 14749 Thornton Road, Lodi,California
Dear Mr. Infurna:
On behalf of Mr. Andy Zarakani of D.I.K. Tracy Enterprises, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
(AGE) is requesting approval by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(SJCEHD) for a reduction in the sampling frequency at ground water monitoring wells MW-11
through MW-15 at 14749 Thornton Road, Lodi,California(site). The site setting is illustrated on
Figure 1. Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2.
Ground water monitoring wells MW-11 through MW-15 have not detected significant contaminants
of concern for at least nine(9)consecutive quarters;continued quarterly ground water sampling from
wells MW-11 through MW-15 at this stage of the investigation is not cost effective and will not
provide enough useful information to supplement the ongoing investigation.Annual sampling events,
at wells MW-I I through MW-15 should be adequate to monitor ground water impact at these wells
and should be re-evaluated on an annual basis.
AGE is proposing that annual sampling of wells MW-11 through MW-15 will be performed during
the first quarter of each year; however, depth to water measurements will continue to be collected
on a quarterly basis. If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not
hesitate to contact our office at(209)467-10067 WN JOAGM COUNTY
9IYVIOMMENTAL HEAITH DEPOMENT
Sincerely, 000 E.
