41 <br /> CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br /> DP-91-6 <br /> PAGE 2 <br /> AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> 1 . San Joaquin County ' s air quality relative to National <br /> Ambient Air Quality Standards set forth in the Clean Air Act <br /> is as follows : <br /> PM-10 - Non-attainment <br /> CO - Non-attainment (for Stockton <br /> Metropolitan Statistical Area only ) <br /> Ozone - Non-attainment ( possible SIP call area) <br /> 2 . The California Clean Air Act, AB 2595 , requires counties <br /> which are designated as a non-attainment to achieve a 5% <br /> annual reduction in emissions until the standards are met. <br /> 3 . The applicant should be aware of the PM-10 Rule and the <br /> Indirect and Areawide Source Review Rule, both of which are <br /> currently proposed by the District for adoption in the near <br /> future . Both of these two rules may affect the applicant' s <br /> project. A copy of these rules are available upon written <br /> request to the District . <br /> 4 . Emissions generated during the construction process are of <br /> some concern to the District. The following dust control <br /> practices shall be implemented : <br /> a. Use of water trucks and/or sprinklers as often as <br /> necessary to control dust. <br /> b. All vehicles leaving the work site shall be cleaned as <br /> to prevent dirt and mud from reaching adjacent streets . <br /> C. Streets shall be kept free of dust and dirt. <br /> d . All trucks shall be covered . <br /> e . All internal combustion engines from construction <br /> vehicles shall be properly tuned and maintained . <br />
