Work Plan for Expedited Additional Site Assessment <br /> Tracy Corners Shopping Center <br /> 3225 North Tracy Boulevard <br /> Tracy,California 95376 <br /> Partner Proposal Number P14-129814.4 <br /> May 5,2015 <br /> Page 15 <br /> • Advance an additional soil boring in the northeastern portion of the subject property and collect one <br /> soil and one groundwater sample for analysis of BTEX in accordance with Method 8260 and TPH-cc in <br /> accordance with Method 8015; <br /> • Retain investigation-derived wastes(IDW) (e.g.soil cuttings and/or purge/decontamination water)in a <br /> properly labeled container; <br /> • Collect a sail cuttings sample from the IDW and analyze the soil sample for VOCs and TPH-cc for waste <br /> profiling purposes; <br /> • Profile,arrange for transport, and disposal of the generated IDW;and, <br /> • As currently contemplated,there is no task with which to prepare a report.As noted below,there is an <br /> optional task by which Partner would prepare a report detailing field activities, methods, and findings. <br /> The report will discuss potential risk and liability associated with existing environmental impacts and <br /> evaluate the anticipated remedial options that may be required by the DTSC. <br /> Assumptions <br /> Partner has prepared this work plan under the following assumptions: <br /> • The surface cover will be no thicker than 6 inches; <br /> • Fieldwork will be conducted within the subject property lines on private property. No drilling activities <br /> will be performed in the public right-of-way; <br /> • Boring locations will be accessible with a truck-mounted direct-push drill rig; <br /> • Groundwater will be encountered at 15 feet or shallower; <br /> • The underlying water-bearing unit will have sufficient recharge to collect viable groundwater samples <br /> within the timeframe of on-site fieldwork; <br /> • Concrete or asphalt patch will be sufficient to refinish the ground surface at each boring location. <br /> Partner will not be responsible for replacing ground cover at boring locations (e.g., tiles, carpet, epoxy <br /> seal, etc.) beyond concrete or asphalt patch; <br /> • No more than two drums of IDW will be generated or require disposal; <br /> • IDW will be stored on site in an accessible exterior area for a period of up to 90 days prior to pick up <br /> for disposal; <br /> • The Client will be the waste generator and provide pertinent contact information. The generator <br /> will be listed on the temporary hazardous waste generator identification number, the waste profile(s), <br /> and the waste manifest(s); <br /> • The generator will be responsible for signing the waste profile(s) and manifest(s). Under no <br /> circumstances will Partner be considered the generator of waste or be required to sign documents <br /> pertaining to waste generation; <br /> • The soil cuttings will be classified as non-hazardous for waste disposal purposes. Additional fees <br /> will apply if the waste is classified as hazardous; <br /> • The generator will be directly responsible for Board of Equalization (BOE) taxes, fees, etc.that may be <br /> incurred for the waste disposal; <br /> • Partner will not be responsible for consequential damages,loss of business,etc.as a result of this scope <br /> of work; <br /> • Standby time directed by the Client due to access limitations and/or other causes outside of Partner's <br /> control will be charged at a rate of$1000 per hour;and, <br />
