The well screen shall be "Ful Flo" <br /> as manufactured by Roscoe Moss Company, equivalent by Houston, UOP- <br /> Johnson, or equal. <br /> 3. For both types of screens, the Contractor shall submif the-following- <br /> information with the bid, as applicable. Base calculations on a 0.050-inch: <br /> slot size. <br /> a) Screen'in'side diameter. <br /> b) Calculated collapse pressure on screen based on a 1,000 foot screen <br /> setting, pumping water level of 250 feet, and well construction <br /> parameters provided in these specifications. <br /> c) Collapse strength of screen. This must have a minimum factor of <br /> safety of 100% over the calculated collapse pressure. <br /> d) Wire width and height. <br /> e) Open area in percent. <br /> f) Intake area in square inches per foot. <br /> g) Support rod diameter and number. <br /> h) Screen weight per foot. <br /> E. Nested Monitoring Well Casing: Nested Monitoring Well casing shall be new <br /> Schedule 10 stainless steel conforming to the requirements for production <br /> casing as specified above. Joints shall be flush, threaded fittings: Casing <br /> pipe shall be by Roscoe Moss Company; UPO-Johnson; or equal. <br /> F. Nested Monitoring Well Screen: Nested Monitoring Well screen shall be new <br /> type 304 stainless steel wire wrap screen conforming to the requirements for <br /> wire wrap production screen as specified above. Actual screen aperture size <br /> and screen location shall be determined based on results of the pilot hole <br /> testing, and confirmed by the Contractor and Engineer. Screen shall be by <br /> Roscoe Moss company, UPO-Johnson; or equal. <br /> ITEM NO. 14 <br /> The last sentence under item "G" of"CASING AND SCREEN'described in <br /> DIVISION 111, Section 9 - "LEWIS MANOR WATER WELL AND NESTED <br /> MONITORING WELL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION", shown on page 17 is <br /> hereby deleted: <br /> ITEM NO. 15 <br /> The paragraphs under item "H"of"CASING AND SCREEN"described in <br /> DIVISION Ill, Section 9 - "LEWIS MANOR WATER WELL AND NESTED <br /> MONITORING WELL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION", shown on page 17 <br /> are hereby amended to read: <br />
