' Page four <br /> a. Drill the top 50 feet of hole to approximately 36 inches in diameter, <br /> install 30-inch-diameter conductor casing, and grout backfill from <br /> bottom of the conductor to the ground surface. <br /> b. Drill the production hole to the final diameter and depth. <br /> c. Perform E-log, sieve analyses, and well design. <br /> d. Conduct caliper(diameter) survey of the drilled hole. <br /> e. Install production casing, screen, and 4-inch gravel fill pipe into <br /> bored hole. <br /> f. Install gravel pack to 300 feet from the finished ground surface. <br /> g. Construct a sanitary seal around the well casing extending down <br /> into the well 300 feet from the finished ground surface. <br /> h. Develop well. <br /> i. Test pump well. <br /> j. Conduct well plumbness and roundness surveys. <br /> k. Video inspect well with a camera with side scan capabilities. <br /> I. Disinfect well and test for bacterial contamination. <br /> m. Perform all specified operations incidental to well construction such <br /> as permits, logs, filing of records, temporary capping, and cleanup. <br /> 2. Construction requirement for this well is: <br /> a. Conductor Casing - 30-inch diameter, grout to'surface <br /> b. Finished Bore Hole- 27-inch diameter x 1,000 feet (for Base Bid <br /> purposes) <br /> c. Casing Diameter- 18-inch <br /> d. Sanitary Seal Outside Diameter- 27-inch <br /> e. Casing Material- Stainless Steel- 550 feet (for Base Bid <br /> purposes) <br /> f. Screen Material- Stainless Steel Wire Wound or Stainless Steel <br /> Louvered- 450 feet (for Base Bid purposes) <br /> g. Drilling Method- Reverse Rotary <br /> B. Nested Monitoring Well: (Bid item No. 2) <br /> 1. The work includes construction of a Nested Monitoring Well (multiple <br /> completion monitoring well) that is gravel packed and provided with four <br /> (4) sampling pipes consisting of well casing and screen, developed and <br /> tested. The work includes: <br /> a. Drill a 12-inch diameter pilot hole to a depth of 1,006'feet_+(for Base, <br /> Bid purposes), or as directed by the Engineer. <br /> b. Perform E-log, sieve analyses, water quality sampling, and well <br /> design. <br /> c. Ream the top 50 feet of hole to approximately 36 inches in <br /> diameter, install 30-inch conductor casing, and grout backfill from <br /> the bottom of the conductor casing to the ground surface. <br /> d. Drill the well to the final diameter and depth. <br /> e. Install four(4) separate sample pipes consisting of casing and <br /> screen into the bored hole. <br /> f. Install 4-inch gravel fill pipe into the well 100 feet from the finished <br /> ground surface. <br />
