Box 13530 <br /> Sacramento, CA 95853-4530 <br /> RE: Shell Oil Co. and IN REPLY REFER TO SITE CODE: 1417 <br /> Jae and Mary Carranza <br /> 666 Larch Road <br /> Tracy, CA <br /> On July 20, 1990, we received your phone call stating that <br /> groundwater contamination had been discovered during a site <br /> assessment at the above referenced property owned by your client. <br /> A "Prop. 65" was completed by this office based upon that <br /> notification. <br /> Shell, UNOCAL, and Chevron all operate retail service stations <br /> within 2, 000 feet of the above referenced property. In November, <br /> 1985, subsequent to an underground storage tank .removal, documented <br /> groundwater contamination was found to exist at the Shell site <br /> (3725 Tracy Blvd, Tracy) . On May 4 , 1990, all known underground <br /> storage tank systems were removed from the Shell station along with <br /> a large amount of contaminated soil.
