Kasey Foley
Subject: Authorization for underground site assessment at
3725 Tracy Blvd. , Tracy, CA
This will confirm our earlier telephone conversation during
which you informed me that there had been an underground tank
or product line leak at this location. A file search of our
records indicates that contamination may yet exist on site.
It appears that a cursory (by today' s standards ) site
assessment was performed and soil and groundwater samples
were analyzed. The results of the analysis are expressed in
a manner unfamiliar to me but do seem to indicate the
presence of contamination.
We believe that a more thorough site assessment and sample
analysis should be performed in an effort to better establish
the degree and extent of any contamination.
Recent conversation with Delta Environmental Consultants ,
Inc. , (Delta) indicates that Delta has had a proposed work
plan, for the more extensive site investigation, submitted to
your division for several weeks . Should there be some
problem with the proposed work plan, please feel free to
convey any requirements which you may have. The site
investigation is very important as the first step in our
efforts to remediate any existing contamination and will be
used to develop a remediation work plan after we have defined
the scope of work required.
We hope that you will soon be in a position to address this
issue as we are anxious to expedite further site
investigation and, if required, remediation.
f
A. e. 19a
D.
