i C A M B R I A <br /> November 2, 1999 <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Sensitive Receptor Survey <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 3725 Tracy Boulevard <br /> Tracy, California <br /> SAP Code 136186 <br /> Incident No 98996222 <br /> Dear Mr Knoll <br /> This letter was prepared by Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) on behalf of <br /> Equilon Enterprises LLC (Equilon) and documents the results of a sensitive receptor survey <br /> performed at the above referenced site (Figure 1) The purpose of this survey was to provide <br /> information regarding the location of underground utilities within a 250-foot radius of the <br /> site, surface water bodies within a 500-foot radius of this site, and wells within a 2,000-foot <br /> radius of the site The scope of work followed during this survey was presented in Cambria's <br /> October 1997 letter to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) <br /> Sensitive Receptor Survey <br /> Cambria performed a sensitive receptor survey that included <br /> • locating potential preferential pathways via underground utilities within a 250-foot <br /> radius of the site, <br /> • identifying surface water bodies within a 500-foot radius of the site, and <br /> • reviewing California Department of Water Resources (DWR) records to identify water <br /> wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the site <br /> Figure 2 shows the areas encompassed by the sensitive receptor survey <br /> Oakland CA Findings <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR <br /> Seattle WA Utrhttes A physical reconnaissance of the subject site and the immediate vicinity was <br /> performed by Cambria personnel on March 16, 1998 The reconnaissance identified sanitary <br /> Cambria sewer lines, storm drains, and water lines in this area The City of Tracy Development and <br /> en <br /> ir <br /> Envonmtal <br /> Enver omenlogy, Inc Engineering Department was contacted in an effort to obtain construction details for these <br /> utilities Mr Armando Salatz provided a copy of a City Drawing showing the utility base in <br /> 10Tkins Street this area however, he did not have information on the depth of utility trenches The map <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(7o7)935-6649 <br />
