CAMBRIA
ANTICIPATED FOURTH QUARTER 2003 ACTIVITIES
Groundwater.Monitoring: Blaine will gauge and sample the site wells according to the existing
sampling schedule and tabulate the data. Cambria will prepare a groundwater monitoring report.
Groundwater Remediation:No further remediation activities are scheduled at this time.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Groundwater flow direction was to the northeast this quarter, as is typical for the site. Well
MW-1A contained MTBE at a concentration of 310 ltg[L, which remains significantly reduced
from historical MTBE concentrations in this well. Figure 3 indicates that both MTBE mass
removal and MTBE concentration in this well have become asymptotic, suggesting that periodic
GWE is no longer having asignificant remedial effect on this well. Therefore, periodic GWE `
events have been discontinued. Cambria will continue to monitor MTBE concentrations at.the "
site and will consider re-implementing.periodic GWE events if a significant increase in MTBE
y concentrations in MW-1A is detected.
CLOSING
If you have any questions regarding the contents' of this document, please call Joe Neely at
(707) 933-2361.
Sincerely,
Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc.
Cynthia Vasko
Senior Staff Engineer
D GfiflO
W.
Joe W.
