' ADDITIONAL INFORAIATIEQ
UIREMENTS III
LOCIiEFORD COMAIUNITY SER VICES DISTRICT
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
16. Description of effluent storage system:
a. Surface area, total depth, and net volume capacity(at 2-foot freeboard level) for each
pond; and
b. Operation and maintenance procedures.
17. Projected monthly water balance demonstrating adequate containment capacity for the
100-year return period total annual precipitation, including consideration of at least:
a. Local evaporation data;
b. Local precipitation data;
c. Projected future wastewater loading rates;
d. Projected longi term percolation rates (including consideration of percolation from
lined ponds and the effects of solids plugging on all ponds); and
e. Projected irrigation usage rates.
18. An irrigation management plan demonstrating adequate disposal capacity, including at
least the following information:
a. Scaled plans showing the limits of all proposed effluent irrigation areas, including their
relationship to storm drains, surface waters, and wells;
b. For each discrete irrigation area, specify the following:
i. total available area;
ii. net available area(considering setbacks required per 22 CCR, Division 4 water
reclamation regulations);
type of irrigation systems planned;
iv. types of plant material to be grown;
V. agronomic nutrient application rates;
vi. agronomic water application rates; and
vii. monthly projection of agronomic imgation rates based on both plant water and
nutrient needs, nutrient content of the effluent, and supplemental nutrients to be
applied.
viii. Structural and operational Best Management Practices (BMPs) to be used to
control potential runoff quality impacts associated with use of reclaimed
effluent.
ix. Means and methods to control public access and/or provide legally required
notice regarding exposure to treated effluent.
19. A narrative description of plant operation and maintenance procedures to be employed,
including those associated with effluent storage and disposal. A copy of the vendor's
Operation and Maintenance Manual may accompany this, but will not necessarily suffice
to describe all operations.
20. A narrative description and documentation of the following:
C:Frojea_FilcsSitaUakeford'Salmtxn000700.DOC
