� LCHU ii ', IC <br /> CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALi � CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> ORDER NO. <br /> WASTEWATER RECLAMATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> FOR <br /> ALBERT WARMERDAM <br /> AND <br /> LOCKEFORD COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The California Regional Water Quality Control Board,Central Valley Region, (herein- <br /> after Board) , finds that: <br /> 1 . Lockeford Community Services District submitted a report of wastewater recla- <br /> mation dated 15 September 1578 pursuant to Section 13522.5 of the California <br /> Water Code. <br /> 2. Lockeford Community Services District proposes to discharge 0.16 million gal- <br /> lons per day (7 1/sec) of treated effluent to land disposal for irrigation. <br /> Irrigation use will be 90 acres (36 ha) of clover pasture for beef cattle <br /> grazing and 25 acres (10 ha) of fodder (corn and oats) for greed chop silage. <br /> 3. Albert Warmerdam (landowner) , owns, or controls agricultural lands indicated <br /> in the above report of wastewater reclamation. Such lands comprise 115 acres <br /> (47 ha) located two miles (3.2 km) south of Lockeford in Section 6, T3N, R8E, <br /> MDB&M. <br /> 4. The State Department of Health has established statewide reclamation criteria <br /> (Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 4, of the California Administrative Code) for <br /> the use of reclaimed wastewater. <br /> 5. Wastewaters for reclamation uses are to be supplied by Lockeford Community <br /> Services District and have been treated to such degree that, under the provi- <br /> sions of Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 4, of the California Administrative <br /> Code, they may be used for the following purposes : <br /> a. Irrigation of fodder, fiber and seed crops. <br /> b. Pasture for beef cattle. <br /> 6. The Board has consulted with the Department of Health and received its <br /> recommendation. <br /> 7. This project constitutes only a minor land alteration and as such is exempt <br /> from provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources <br /> Code Section 21000 et. seq. ) in accordance with Section 2714 of Title 23, <br /> Administrative Code. <br /> 8. The Board has notified the user and interested agencies and persons if its <br /> intent to prescribe wastewater reclamation requirements for the proposed site <br /> and provided them with an opportunity for a public hearing and an opportunity <br /> to submit their written vievis and recommendations. <br /> 9, The Board in a public meeting heard and considered all comments pertaining to <br /> the use of these reclaimed wastewaters. <br />
