Analytical .
results are attached.
I
12DCA, BTEX, and oxygenates were non-detects (NDs) except for DIPE, which was detected
at 0.88 micrograms per liter(g&Q, a concentration near the.laboratory's practical quantitation
limit. There is no California drinking water standard(Maximum Contaminant Level) or U. S
Environmental Protection Agency's Preliminary Remediation Goal for DIPE. TPHg was ND
in the sample. Dissolved lead was detected at 4.3 gg/L. Analytical results of the soil sample
collected at about 40 feet bgs from the original boring B3-5 were NDs in BTEX and TPHg.
Based on these data, the vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater ax'
the site is limited to about 36 feet bgs with the high concentrations of PHCs primarily Bruited' '
to an interval between about 15 and 25 bgs. These results are consistent with previous site
assessment data. Therefore, a deep well (greater than 40 feet bgs) at this site is neither, "°
warranted nor necessary:
If you have any questions, please call me at(559) 264-2535.
i".
Sincerely yours,
GEOMATRIX CONSULTANTS,INC.
1;
Veen Chee Foong,PE is .
Senior Engineer a`
Attachments--Laboratory Analytical Results
