II <br /> 6.2 PROJECT HEALTH AND SAFETY DIRECTOR � `i <br /> E� <br /> The Project Health and Safety Director(PHSD) shall: <br /> 1. Prepare the site health and safety plan and, if necessary, modify the plan based on <br /> changing site conditions or incidents. <br /> 2. Provide site specific health and safety training for project personnel. <br /> 3. Ensure that this plan and all modifications receive appropriate in-house review. <br /> 4. Oversee exposure monitoring to evaluate potential site health hazards. <br /> L� <br /> 6.3 SITE SAFETY OFFICER kj <br /> The Site Safety Officer (SSO) shall: II <br /> 1. Ensure that appropriate personal protective equipment is available on-site for <br /> consultant personnel. <br /> 2. Observe contractor's health and safety procedureis. If contractor's personnel do not <br /> have appropriate protective equipment to perform work within the SSP standards, the <br /> SSO shall consult with the PM or Client Contac before proceeding with the work. <br /> 3. Maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment utilized on-site as frequently as <br /> necessary. <br /> 4. Report accidents, incidents or inadequate work practices observed involving <br /> consultant personnel or subcontractors to the PNV and Client Contact. <br /> L <br /> 6.4 PROJECT PERSONNEL <br /> i <br /> r <br /> Project site personnel shall:] <br /> L 1. Take all reasonable precautions to prevent injury to themselves and to their <br /> co-workers. <br /> 2. Perform only those tasks that they can do safely, and immediately report accidents or <br /> unsafe conditions to the SSO. <br /> 3. Follow the procedures in the site health and safety plan, and report to the SSO any <br /> deviations from the procedures in the plan by consultant personnel, employees of <br /> L 6 ' <br />
