(Stantec) on <br /> behalf of Chevron Environmental Management Company (EMC) as part of a potential <br /> property transfer. This document presents a work plan to conduct assessment activities <br /> at Chevron Station No. 96171 located at 6633 Pacific Avenue in Stockton, California <br /> (Site). This work plan presents a brief site description and a detailed scope of work <br /> proposed for the assessment. <br /> Site Description and Environmental Status <br /> The Site, a currently active Chevron retail gasoline service station, is located at 6633 <br /> Pacific Avenue, on the southwest corner of the intersection of Benjamin Holt Drive and <br /> Pacific Avenue in Stockton, California. Benjamin Holt Drive and Pacific Avenue border <br /> the Site to the north and east, respectively. Site facilities include an ExtraMile® <br /> convenience store building in the northwest portion of the Site, three 10,000-gallon <br /> gasoline underground storage tanks, six fuel dispenser islands, and associated piping. <br /> The majority of the Site is covered with an asphalt paved parking lot with common <br /> landscaping. According to the United States Geological Survey topographic map dated <br /> 1992, the elevation of the Site is approximately 14 feet above mean sea level on <br /> relatively flat terrain. Fivemile Creek is located approximately 2,750 feet to the northwest <br /> of the Site (Figure 1). <br /> Review of the California State Water Resources Control Board GeoTracker on-line <br /> database shows the Chevron Site as a leaking underground storage tank site, with a <br /> gasoline leak reported on March 1, 1987 and the case closed on October 15, 2009. The <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region case number was <br /> 390054. <br /> Design with community in mind <br />
