Reclamation District 2074 Levee Monitoring Proposal Inclinometer Installation, Readings, and Reports San Joaquin County, California Page 2 Cost of Services KANE GeoTech will provide the proposed scope of services described above for a lump sum fee of$13,858.04. The quoted fee is good for 30 days. Scheduling KANE GeoTech acknowledges that timely performance of services is a very important element of this proposal and consistent with sound professional practices. KANE GeoTech will make a diligent effort to complete the permit applications in a timely manner and following installation, will complete the baseline readings as soon as possible. Based on our current workload and backlog, it is currently estimated that the scheduling and coordination for the casing installation will take place immediately and will be completed as soon as possible pending permitting and driller availability (weather permitting) of the formal authorization. The monitoring reports will be submitted within one week after readings take place. It is possible that unforseen conditions, events, and/or changes to the project may occur which could require a revision of the time necessary for this study. Additionally, revisions to supplied drawings, project specifications, and/or other documents could alter the necessary scope of services required to complete this work. KANE GeoTech cannot be responsible for delays caused by others or events beyond its control. Exclusions Excluded from this proposal are the costs of any additional tasks including, but not limited to: • Meetings required by the Client or others • Additional inclinometer readings and reports beyond those described above • Geotechnical work not described above including Soil (Geotechnical) Reports • Soil sampling • Laboratory testing • Engineering design • Engineered drawings, calculations, and specifications • Inspection services • As-built drawings • Hard copies of reports • Preparation of any addendum or update reports that are necessary following completion of our initial Reports other than routine comment reviews by the governing agency KANE GeoTech can accomplish the excluded work upon request.
