All probing rods will be cleaned prior to advancement at each <br /> probe boring location. <br /> BORING ABANDONMENT <br /> All soil borings will be permanently sealed to prevent vertical migration of potential contaminants. Soil <br /> borings shall be abandoned by backfilling with a portland cement slurry from the total depth to surface <br /> grade. The EHD will be notified for grout inspection at least 72 hours prior to conducting grouting <br /> procedures. <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work performed <br /> and the results of the laboratory analyses. Conclusions, applicable recommendations, maps and cross- <br /> sections will be included in the report, as well as copies of the laboratory reports, testing methods, <br /> laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody <br /> documentation.
