CHRONOLOGY <br />} '8203 HWY 26, STOCKTON <br /> 05707/99 On this date a 10,000 gallon unleaded <br /> f , a 10,000 gallon diesel,-a <br /> 2000 gallon premium gasoline underground storage tank (UST) and <br /> Piping were removed from the site under permit and inspection of <br /> the Environmental Health Department (EHD . Gasoline <br /> ��� ) ane odor and <br /> soil discoloration was noted at the time of the UST removals. Soil <br /> samples collected beneath the UST's were analyzed. The highest <br /> concentrations of contamination were in the soil samples from <br /> beneath the gasoline UST's. <br /> 09724/99 Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge and Unauthorized <br /> Release Forms filed this date. <br /> 10/20/99 Date of Work Pian that proposed removal of 350 cubic yards of <br /> contaminated soil. <br /> 11/03/99 Site placed in the'Local Oversight Program. <br /> 03/21700 Excavation of the former UST area, primarily beneath and:around <br /> the former 2000 gallon UST area occurred this date. Approximately <br /> -195 tons of contaminated soil was removed and taken-to Forward <br /> Landfill. The deepest part'of the excavation was 22 feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg). <br /> 10115-17101 Six soil borings were drilled at-the site. Monitoring wells were <br /> constructed in three of the soil borings. <br /> 03/07/02 Date of "Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation" report on the <br /> work performed in October 2001.' Depth to water is about 91 feet <br /> bsg. Contaminated soil exists from 10 to 70 feet. <br /> 08/15/02 Date of"Replacement of Well MW1" work plan that states MW is j <br /> to be destroyed because it is in the former UST location where a <br /> new upgraded UST is to be installed. <br /> 09/05/02 This parcel is in the unincorporated area and is very small. There <br /> is not sufficient area to meet separation requirements for a UST, a <br /> water well and a septic system: This is.the date of the EHD letter <br /> stating that the site has been approved for use as an unmanned <br /> card-lock facility only and that the water well and septic tank must <br /> be destroyed. <br /> 09/27/02 The drinking water well and MW 1 were destroyed this date. <br /> k <br /> i <br />
