Cuts 2. Wear appropriate work gloves to prevent cuts, lacerations. <br /> 3. Dermal Contact 3. Wear appropriate protective clothing to avoid dermal or <br /> personal clothing contact with sampled material. <br /> 4. Biological 4. Look before you step. Snakes, wild life, and poisonous <br /> vegetation are hazardous and can cause acute injuries. <br /> Use Ivy wipes if you come into contact with poison ivy, <br /> oak, or sumac. Apply bug spray before sampling event to <br /> prevent insect bites and ticks. Continually check areas <br /> within and surrounding the sampling zone for the <br /> presence of wild life. Make noise to attempt to clear the <br /> area of animals. <br />
