The soil sample analyses for all other
CAM 17 metals yielded no detection. The detected metals concentrations (see Table 1) are
classified as non-hazardous based on the Total Threshold Limit Concentration (TTLC)
Regulated Levels expressed in §66261.24(B) of Title 22 of the California Administrative
Code. The detected total concentrations do not equal or exceed 10 times the Soluble
Threshold Limit Concentration (STLC) Regulated Levels which is a guideline criteria for
conducting an STLC analysis, except for the 88 mg/kg of lead in the sample obtained from 6-
3 @ 0.5', the 100 mg/kg of arsenic in the sample obtained from 6-7 @ 0.5', the 340 mg/kg of
copper in the sample obtained from 6-10 @ 0.5', and the 65 mg/kg of lead present in the
sample obtained from 6-8 @ 0.5'. As a result of those high TTLC concentrations, those 4 soil
samples were analyzed for the soluble concentrations of the same metals. All of the samples
had soluble concentrations of the metals analyzed that were below the STLC Regulated Level,
except, the soluble lead concentration of 58 mg/L in Boring 6-10 at 0.5 feet. That
concentration was approximately an order of magnitude above the STLC Regulated Level of 5
10-3978-ol.WR61207RE074.doc Page 13 of 17 01997,Kleinjelder,Inc.
