File No. 20-3978-01.P02 KLEINFELDER
November 14, 1996
Laboratory Analysis
Each of the soil and water samples selected for quantitative analysis will be submitted
under chain-of-custody control to Sequoia Analytical Laboratories (Sequoia) of
Sacramento, California. Sequoia is certified by the California Department of Toxic
Substances to perform the requested analyses. It is anticipated that samples will be
analyzed on a normal laboratory turnaround schedule, which usually requires up to 10
working days for receipt of analytical data.
Up to two soil samples and one water sample from each boring location will be submitted
for analysis. The samples will be selected based upon field observations, qualitative field
screening results, and the depth in the boring. Each of the soil and water samples will be
analyzed for :
No. of
Sampling Number of Samples
Location Submitted Sample Analysis
Borings soil Twater
Former 4 8 4 • TPH-Extractable as diesel and motor oil
Cottages (fuel fingerprint) by EPA Method 8015M
• CAM 17 Metals by EPA Methods
• Pesticides and PCBs by EPA Method 8080
• Chlorinated Herbicides by EPA Method 8150
• Industrial Solvents Scan by EPA Method 8015
• Ethylene Glycol by EPA Methods
Administration 4 8 4 • TPH-Extractable as diesel and motor oil
Building (fuel fingerprint) by EPA Method 8015M
• CAM 17 Metals by EPA Methods
• Industrial Solvents Scan by EPA Method 8015
• Ethylene Glycol by EPA Methods
Processing 6 12 6 • TPH-Extractable as diesel and motor oil
Plant (fuel fingerprint) by EPA Method 8015M
• CAM 17 Metals by EPA Methods
• EPA 8270 Open Scan
• EPA 8240 Open Scan
• Industrial Solvents Scan by EPA Method 8015
REPORT PREPARATION
Upon completion of the field activities and our receipt and review of the analytical
results, a report will be prepared for client review.
