Site History and Proiect Information <br /> A) Facility Site Description: The site is located at 540 West Scotts Avenue in <br /> Stockton California. The surface of the entire site is covered by concrete footings, <br /> slabs and asphalt. <br /> B) Site Occupied: The site was previously occupied by ACME-Stockton <br /> Galvanizing until 1982 due to the failure of an galvanizing kettle and was closed. <br /> C) Site Map Attached with the Following Designated: <br /> 1)Entry and Emergency egress: <br /> ' 2)Work Location(s) <br /> D) Scope of Work: The work to be conducted is as described in Enforceable <br /> Agreement Docket Number HSA 90/91-012. The five year review and reevaluation will <br /> include the following: <br /> 1) Inspection of the integrity of the asphalt cap covering the treated and <br /> stabilized soil at the site. Photographic documentation of the asphalt cap will <br /> ' be included in the report. <br /> 2) Drill one soil boring in the approximate center of the stabilized soil to 5 feet <br /> ' below the asphalt cap. Collect samples of the stabilized material and <br /> underlying soil for laboratory testing. <br /> ' 3) Monitor and sample the three groundwater monitoring wells on the site and <br /> analyze the groundwater samples. <br /> ' 4) Prepare working drawings which will show the location of the asphalt cap, <br /> boring location and the positions of the three existing groundwater monitoring <br /> ' wells. <br /> 5) Publish a summary report documenting the work carried out along with <br /> ' conclusions and recommendations. <br />
