Item No. 4 <br /> PC : 9-15-88 <br /> UP-88-16 <br /> Page 8 <br /> CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br /> 1 . Manteca-Lathrop Rural County Fire Protection District : <br /> a. Adequate water shall be provided for fire protection per <br /> NFPA 1231 , Rural Water Supplies, and approved by the local <br /> fire jurisdiction. <br /> b. Adequate access to property shall be provided per the <br /> Uniform Fire Code, 1985 edition. The Uniform Fire Code <br /> ( 1985 edition) NFPA Standards and Sprinkler Ordinance <br /> shall be utilized where required. <br /> 2 . Local Health District : <br /> a. All manure waste from this operation is to be managed and <br /> disposed of in such a manner so as not to cause a vector <br /> or odor nuisance or a health problem. <br /> b. The tomato-silage pits used for the feedlot operation must <br /> not create a vector or odor nuisance. Management of the <br /> silage pit must comply with San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> #877 , Item #6, A(4) . <br /> c. The amount of tomato waste brought in for silage shall be <br /> no greater than what the feedlot can utilize on a yearly <br /> basis. There shall be no year-to-year holdover of the <br /> silage . <br /> d. Coffee grounds are not to create a vector or odor <br /> nuisance, and -recycling is to be limited to coffee grounds <br /> currently on-site. The importation of coffee grounds is <br /> to cease once the existing on-site stockpiles of soil are <br /> eliminated. <br /> e. A disposal site permit for the animal feeding yard is <br /> required from the Health District . <br /> 3 . Department of Public Works: <br /> a. An Improvement Plan, prepared by a Registered Civil <br /> Engineer, showing drainage, driveway access details, on- <br /> site parking, and grading shall be submitted to the <br /> Department of Public Works for approval . <br /> b. A 10-foot-wide roadway dedication is required on McKinley <br /> Avenue along the frontage of APN 241-400-18 . <br />
