The containers <br /> were: <br /> -Two 55 gallon drums of used oil filters were observed by the filter crusher without hazardous waste labels. <br /> -Ten black metal 55 gallon drums that were identified as containing used filters were observed in the hazardous <br /> waste storage shed without hazardous waste labels. <br /> -One blue plastic 55 gallon drum of used absorbent was observed on the fuel island labeled as spill response kit. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by March 16, 2020. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
