(C/O NOLTE & ASSOCIATES) ---------------------------------------------------------------- The Development Committee will review this preapplication on January 11 , 1989 . The attached comment letters were submitted by the : • Building Inspection Division ( 12-20-88 ) ; • Environmental Health Division ( 12-22-88 ) ; and • Caltrans ( 12-30-88) . The proposal presents three main issues: • Traffic/circulation; • Development services for sewage disposal , water supply, and storm drainage; and • Land use compatibility. Traffic/Circulation: For processing of the project application, the applicant must submit a traffic study to evaluate project impacts and mitigation measures. In addition to the items noted in the Caltrans letter, the study must address the project ' s compatibility with the Arch-Airport/Sperry Road Specific Plan, a joint City-County pro- ject already in progress. The specific concerns are the Sperry Road alignment near the project site and the interchange improve- ment requirements at I-5/French Camp Road. Staff recommends that if the project proponent wishes to proceed with an application, he should consult City and County agencies immediately to find out whether or not the scope of the Environmental Impact Report now being prepared for the Specific
