(C/O NOLTE & <br /> ASSOCIATES) <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The Development Committee will review this preapplication on <br /> January 11 , 1989 . <br /> The attached comment letters were submitted by the : <br /> • Building Inspection Division ( 12-20-88 ) ; <br /> • Environmental Health Division ( 12-22-88 ) ; and <br /> • Caltrans ( 12-30-88) . <br /> The proposal presents three main issues: <br /> • Traffic/circulation; <br /> • Development services for sewage disposal , water supply, and <br /> storm drainage; and <br /> • Land use compatibility. <br /> Traffic/Circulation: <br /> For processing of the project application, the applicant must <br /> submit a traffic study to evaluate project impacts and mitigation <br /> measures. In addition to the items noted in the Caltrans letter, <br /> the study must address the project ' s compatibility with the <br /> Arch-Airport/Sperry Road Specific Plan, a joint City-County pro- <br /> ject already in progress. The specific concerns are the Sperry <br /> Road alignment near the project site and the interchange improve- <br /> ment requirements at I-5/French Camp Road. <br /> Staff recommends that if the project proponent wishes to proceed <br /> with an application, he should consult City and County agencies <br /> immediately to find out whether or not the scope of the <br /> Environmental Impact Report now being prepared for the Specific <br />
