-
1 KLEINFELDFR
wi ' be performed in accordance with the protocols detailed in the DTSC Interim PEA
Gt idance Manual.
1.4. DTSC INSPECTION CONCERNS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on DTSCs Phase I Assessment Checklist Verification Inspection, DTSC
recommended that the Plating Room and Treatment Area " be further investigated to
define the horizontal and vertical extent of the release to the ground." References to
leaks were in "plating bath in bermed area" and "wastewater treatment area which I
observed stain and cracks in the floor." Specific areas within these two AOC however
were not identified in the DTSC document. This PEA Workplan has been developed to
address this recommendation. COPC to be evaluated per DTSC request in the two
AOC are listed above in Section 1.2.
57252.T021ST05R999/DH:Iv Page 3 of 29
©2005 Kleinfelder, Inc. September 1, 2005
