KL E/NFEL DER
e.;gm e..ovie.aynrsomrro..
contractually bound to make said disclosures in lieu of Kleinfelder, its owners,
principals, employees or subcontractors.
APPROXIMATE PROJECT SCHEDULE
Based on the proposed methodology, scope of work and assumptions described below,
the following approximate project schedule has been formulated:
Approximate Task
Timeline
Week 0 — 1 Formal authorization provided by the client; Draft workplan
reparation
Week 1 — 3 USA Markin /Permittin
Week 3 — 4 Field Activities'
Week 4 — 5 Chemical Analyses*
Week 5 — 7 Reporting
'Time estimates may vary based on external scheduling or services by the County (permitting) and
subcontractor/s (pushprobe scheduling, laboratory analyses/reporting).
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSUMPTIONS
The scope of work contained in this work plan and agreed upon fees with the client are
based on the following assumptions:
• This work plan is based on the presumption that Thermal Energy
Development personnel will clearly mark utilities and will provide any and
all available survey maps or other data to determine the location of
underground storage tanks, existing subsurface structures, underground
utilities and services.
• Adequate workspace and access will be provided by the client.
• Kleinfelder is not responsible for the site safety of others.
• The client should be aware that penetrating the site's surface is inherently
risky. It is impossible to determine with certainty the precise location of all
structures (such as irrigation lines, septic system tanks or leach fields)
which may be bdried On the pound. Kleinfelder'O fee is not adequate to
compensate for both the performance of the services and the assumption
of risk of damage to such structures. Underground Services Alert (USA) at
1-800-642-2444 provides a partial location service free of charge for major
utility lines. It is important that the client understand that subsurface
structures buried under private property will not be marked by the public
utility companies by USA.
97064.T1/ST08P785 August 29,2008
©2008 Kleinfelder Page 4 of 5
