(AGE) on behalf of Idealease for the property
at 1137 South Stockton Street in Stockton (Site).
The Site is in an industrial and commercial area of west Stockton. Site features include an
office building, truck wash facility, fuel dispenser area, and one 12,000-gallon diesel
aboveground tank (AGT).
The Report summarizes the December 2010 sampling event. The depth to groundwater was
about 16 feet below ground surface, and the groundwater flows radially toward a depression
near monitoring well MW-4. Monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-4 contained total petroleum
hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd) at a maximum concentration of 2,800 micrograms per liter
(Ng/L). No other petroleum hydrocarbons were detected.
Central Valley Water Board staff concur with Idealease's request to reduce the sampling
frequency for upgradient well MW-3, since petroleum hydrocarbons have never been detected
in this well. However, Idealease needs to continue sampling MW-3 semi-annually (not
annually as requested) during the first and third quarters and report the results in the following
quarterly monitoring report.
