Hazelton Avenue Stockton, CA 95205-6232 Subject: Land Park Monitor Well Destruction(MW-5,MW-6, and MW-7) Lathrop,California WORK PLAN FOR WELL ABANDONMENT Dear Mr. Yokum: As requested by our client, Saybrook CLSP, LLC, ENGEO has prepared this work plan for monitoring well abandonment at the subject site, located in Lathrop, California (Attached Figure). We present this work plan to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and request approval to perform the services described below. The monitor wells, which were developed in 2003, were used for groundwater studies by the City of Lathrop until approximately 2005 when the monitor wells became inactive. The purpose of our services is to abandon the three wells in preparation for future development. Grading for site development is tentatively planned for later this year. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The subject wells are located on the south and north sides of Spartan Way, and west of Land Park Drive in western Lathrop, and are located within the following parcels: • MW-5; APN 191-21-013; 15351 Golden Valley Parkway. Parcel owned by Saybrook CLSP, LLC. • MW-6; APN 191-21-022; 15450 South Lathrop Road. Parcel owned by Saybrook CLSP, LLC. • MW-7; APN 191-21-029; 701 Spartan Way. Parcel owned by the City of Lathrop. The well casings are 2-inch-diameter PVC and are screened approximately from 5 to 151/2 feet below the ground surface (bgs). Previous site visits found that the well bottoms are set at approximately 161/2 feet bgs.
