ANALYTICAL RESULTS
The groundwater samples collected from wells MW1, MW2, MW4, MW5, MW6, and MW9
contained detectable concentrations of TPHg and/or BTEX constituents The groundwater
samples collected from wells MW3 and MW8 and the on-site domestic well contained no
detectable concentrations of TPHg, BTEX, MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, 1,2-DCA, or
EDB
The groundwater samples collected from wells MW5 and MW6 contained detectable
concentrations of MTBE at 3 4 micrograms per liter (ug/L) and 62 ug/L, respectively The
groundwater samples from wells MW1, MW5, MW6, and MW9 contained detectable
concentrations of 1,2-DCA respectively as follows 59 ug/L, 9 6 ug/L, 160 ug/L, and 1 9 ug/L
The groundwater samples collected from wells MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4, MWS, MW9, and the
on-site domestic well contained no detectable concentrations of MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETRE,
TAME, or EDB although the reporting limits for wells MW 1 and MW2 were elevated due to
dilution Concentrations of TPHg, and BTEX constituents detected in the groundwater sample
collected from well MW1 increased significantly since the previous groundwater monitoring event
conducted on August 17, 2004
. Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2 and laboratory data sheets
are contained in Attachment 2
GEOTRACKER DATA UPLOAD
The depth to water data was submitted electronically to the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) Geotracker database (confirmation number 4562225162) and the laboratory data was
also submitted electronically to the SWRCB Geotracker database (confirmation number
2916210353) The facility has been assigned a Geotracker global identification number
T0607700051 Documentation of the data submittal is contained in Attachment 3
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of the fourth quarter 2004 monitoring event, we recommend the following
• Continue quarterly monitoring and analyze samples from the monitoring wells for TPHg,
BTEX, MTBE, ETBE, DIPE, TBA, TAME, 1,2-DCA, and EDB
• Continue with scheduling the installation of the remediation system proposed in ATC's
Interim Remediation Plan(IRP) dated March 25, 2004 and approved in a letter from SJCEHD
dated April 23, 2004
