VAll A S S O C I A T E S I N C samples collected from wells MW3 and MW8 and the on-site domestic well contained no detectable concentrations of TPHg, TPHd, BTEX, MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, 1,2- DCA, or EDB The groundwater samples collected from wells MWI, MW5, and MW6 contained detectable concentrations of MTBE respectively 18 micrograms per Mer (ug/L), 3 4 ug/L, and 84 ug/L The groundwater samples from wells MWI, MW5, MW6, and MW9 contained detectable concentrations of 1,2-DCA respectively as follows 99 ug/L, 14 ug/L, 220 ug/L, and 2 8 ug/L The groundwater sample collected from well MWI contained 25 ug/L of TBA The groundwater samples collected from wells MW2, MW3, MW4, MW8, MW9, and the on-site domestic well contained no detectable concentrations of TPHd, MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, or EDB although the reporting limit for MW2 was elevated due to dilution Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2 and laboratory data sheets are contained in Attachment 2 GEOTRACKER DATA UPLOAD The depth to water data was submitted electronically to the State Water Resources Control Board • (SWRCB) Geotracker database (confirmation number 9201064884) and the laboratory data was also submitted electronically to the SWRCB Geotracker database (confirmation number 1839828610) The facility has been assigned a Geotracker global identification number T0607700051 Documentation of the data submittal is contained in Attachment 3 RECOMMENDATIONS Based on the results of the second quarter 2004 monitoring event, we recommend the following • Continue quarterly monitoring and analyze samples from the monitoring wells for TPHg, BTEX, MTBE, ETBE, DIPE, TBA, TAME, 1,2-DCA, and EDB Discontinue all TPHd analyses • Continue with scheduling the installation of the remediation sytem proposed in ATC's Interim Remediation Plan (IRP) dated March 25, 2004 and approved in a letter from SJCEHD dated April 23, 2004 • s\env iromental\25291Veportsl3QR-2004 doc 3
