S <br />' Report of Findings <br />' The soil samples were taken using a California Modified Split Spoon sampler <br /> with brass liners. The sampler was driven continuously by a wire line hammer <br /> At least three (3) soil samples were collected from each soil. boring <br />' The laboratory samples did not have head space and were immediately sealed in <br /> their liners using Teflon® lined plastic caps The remaining sample was <br /> removed from its liner and used as an aide to the on-site professional in logging <br /> the material at that depth. <br /> Soil samples collected for analysis were analyzed by EPA method 5030/LUFT <br />' for total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline, EPA method 8021B for BTX&E, <br /> and EPA method 8260B for oxygenates (MTBE, Ethanol, tertiary Butanol, DIPE, <br />' ETBE, and TAME) Analyses were conducted by the State-certified laboratory <br /> GeoAnalytical Laboratories, Inc., in Modesto, California <br /> 4.0 Analytical Results <br /> All soil and groundwater samples were analyzed by GeoAnalytical Laboratories, Inc, in <br /> Modesto, California Soil and groundwater samples were collected from each of the <br /> borungs/momtonng wells Monitoring well development occurred on July 19 and 20, <br /> 2000 <br /> 41 Soil Analytical Results <br />' The soil analytical results are resented in Table 1 The laboratory data sheets and <br /> y� P <br /> the chain of custody reports can be found in Appendix B <br /> Soil Boring B101 <br /> Three (3) soil samples were collected from B101 at 36 5', 715', and 1015' <br /> Chenucal analysis of the soil sample collected at 36 5' revealed the presence of <br /> Benzene at 7 ug/Kg and Total Xylenes at 16 ug/Kg The sample collected at 71 5' <br /> also contained Benzene and Total Xylenes at 8 ug/Kg and 9 ug/Kg, respectively <br /> The 1015' sample was non-detect (ND) for all analytes The only compounds <br /> found m the soil from this boring were Benzene and Xylenes <br /> Soil Boring B103 <br /> WHF collected four (4) soil samples for laboratory analysis from B103 These <br /> samples were collected at 35', 50', 70', and 100' below ground level The only <br /> chemical compound found in the soil from this boring, according to the laboratory <br /> • analysis, was Benzene at 13 ug/Kg in the 70' sample All other chemicals were <br /> ND <br /> I <br />
