Subject : Drilling and Installation of Monitoring Wells Dear Mr. Infurna: This is a formal request to move our dates for drilling and subsequent report findings further into the future. There are several reasons to request this extension of time, the first being the conflict of scheduled work by our drilling company. Pierson Drilling is tied up on an extended project and is unwilling to leave in the middle of this work to complete our project . The other reason is that the State Water Resources Control Board has again accepted us on the Priority List, but has not issued their letter of commitment yet, nor the payment request packet . Since all of our working capital has been depleted, we must wait for reimbursement to be able to afford to hire the required work to be done . There is not a company willing to do our work now and wait until then for payment . Based on the estimates of work necessary to comply in the future, even the reimbursement will not be adequate to meet expenses . Since this program is set up to help the underfinanced, it seems logical to me that provisions would be available to offset these problems . Upon qualifying, it was established we were people of limited funds . Please advise me of your decision. Sincerly,
