Santa Fe Rd. <br /> Riverbank, CA., 95367 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) <br /> has reviewed the January 23, 1998 "Phase II Environmental Site Investigation" report <br /> submitted by Arrowhead Consultants on April 8, 1998 and has the following comments. <br /> High concentrations of petroleum were detected in the soil and groundwater samples <br /> obtained during the January 1998 subsurface investigation in the former underground <br /> tank (UGT) pit. PHS-EHD will require the site to be investigated further. <br /> A workplan that proposes the placement of monitoring wells around the UGT pit and the <br /> collection of soil samples from throughout the site is to be submitted to PHS-EHD. The <br /> workplan, the boring permit application and $89 fee, and a site safety plan are to <br /> be submitted by June 15, 1998. <br /> PHS-EHD has updated the local contaminated database to reflect the status change in <br /> this site from a "contaminated soil site" to a "contaminated groundwater site'. <br /> Please submit your correspondence to Michael Infurna, Senior REHS, and you may call <br /> him at (209) 468-3454 if you would like to discuss your site. <br /> Donna Heran, REHS, Director <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> G� <br /> Michael J.
