On 24 January 1990, the San Joaquin County Envir t a Department JCEHD) filed <br /> an Unauthorized Release Form (URF) after observing underground storage tank (UST) <br /> system at 23569 South Santa Fe Ro in Riverbank (AP N 070-12)(the "Site") failed a <br /> precision test. SJCEHD directed the /operators to st use of the USTs and to assess <br /> the nature and extent of the contamina <br /> 2. On 20 May 1991, the SJCEHD filed a sec d UR servin n unauthorized release of <br /> petroleum fuel hydrocarbons during the re val r unknown capacity and usage <br /> from the Site (associa and dispens ere also oved at this time). Maximum soil <br /> confirmation sampl 0 fere. etroleum h ocarbons gasoline (TPHg), 4,700 milligrams <br /> per kilogram (m benzen mg/kg; tolu 210 mg/kg; ethylbenzene, 86 mg/kg; and <br /> xylenes, 604 mj g <br /> 3. In October 1999, water simplest" estic well located on an adjacent property <br /> (DW-2).showed concentrations of met utyl ether (MTBE) at 38 micrograms per liter (ug/L). <br /> Well DW-2 was re-sampled in November of 1999 and concentrations of MTBE were detected at <br /> 58 ug/L. <br /> 4. On 8 December 1999 the Board s,,Executive Officer ordered Halima Saleh-Ali and Nagi Saleh-Ali, <br /> Durhim Saleh-Ali and Mohamed and Huda Gubary to provide an alternate supply of potable water <br /> to the users of the impact `,`domestic well (DW-2), and ordered Halima Saleh-Ali and Nagi Saleh- <br /> Ali, Durhim Saleh-Ali an ohamed and Huda Gubary to install a groundwater monitoring well <br /> and to conduct'' " er roundwater monitoring. A temporary water supply line was run from <br /> DW-1 (the Site's _ tic supply well) to the residence on 26 December 1999. DW-1 and DW-2 <br /> were destroyed an"a replacement domestic well (DW-1 R) was installed to serve the Site and <br /> adjacent residence by January 2001. <br />
