The monitoring and sampling results will
be summarized into the quarterly report that will include the field notes, copies of the analytical
lab results, tables summarizing the field and analytical data, and maps showing the groundwater
gradient and chemical concentration results.
REMEDIATION WELL INSTALLATION
The proposed scope of work is being completed in preparation for installation of a remediation
system designed to remove and/or destroy hydrocarbons in the soil and groundwater at the site.
Specifically, the work scope includes the installation of a total of 27 wells:
• Four(4) vapor extraction wells (Shown as V-7 through V-10 on Figure 3 of 8,
Attachment 1); and
• Twenty-three (23) ozone injection wells (Shown as S-1 through S-23 on Figure 3 of 8,
Attachment 1).
In addition to the well installation, trenching will be needed to extend the lateral extraction lines
from the compound to the remediation wells. The locations of the proposed wells are shown on
Figure 3 of 8, Attachment 1. A detailed description of the scope of work is summarized below.
Scope of Work
Site Specific Health and Safety Plan and Utility Clearance
SECOR will prepare a site-specific Health and Safety Plan for well installation and sampling
activities proposed at the site as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration
(OSHA) Standard "Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response" guidelines (29
CFR 1910.120). The document will be reviewed and signed by all SECOR personnel and
subcontractors performing work at the site.
Prior to conducting subsurface work at the site, Underground Service Alert(USA) will be
contacted to delineate subsurface piping near the site with surface markings. In addition, a
private utility locator service will be contracted to clear each of the proposed drilling locations.
FJe: hMenet-Riverbevk\Wo6plmsV2erch menet-Re Symm
