On July 13, October 19, November 4, and December 2, the ozone flow meter was registering no
flow. The ozone lines were fouled with a white precipitate. The lines and associated valves were
dismantled and cleaned. The ozone lines were re-assembled and the sparge system was returned to
service the same day. Historical operational data including well open/closed status, ozone leak
detection monitoring data, and presence of an odor are presented in Table 6.
3.3.3 Future Work
Future work planned in the First Quarter 2005 include the following tasks:
• Perform monthly O&M for the ozone sparge system,
• Conduct weekly inspections on the operational status of the catalytic oxidizer and perform
monthly O& M for the SVE system.
3.4 Geophysical Survey
In accordance with Geocon's Free Product Discovery and Proposed Actions workplan, a
geophysical investigation was performed at the site by Spectrum Geophysics on May 3, 2004.
Spectrum did not discover strong evidence of buried USTs at the site. The Spectrum Results of
Geophysical Investigation report is included as Appendix C.'
4
{
i
i
f
Project No.58643-06-01 -9- December 30,2004
