The site is located within Sections 20 and 29 , Township 1
North, Range 9 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. This property
and the surrounding area are zoned AG-40 (Agricultural) . The
topography of the site is flat with a gradient of 0 . 0017 sloping from
northeast to southwest. There are no significant waterways or
drainage channels crossing the property.
The topographic soils map prepared by the United States
Department of Agriculture, Soils Conservation Service, indicates the
site is covered by Archerdale clay loam. For many years, the subject
property has been planted to walnuts. The latest San Joaquin County
Water Conservation District Maps reveal that the standing water level
of the subject site to be at a depth of approximately one hundred and
forty ( 1401 ) feet. This relates to a groundwater elevation of
approximately -35 feet.
Attached is a copy of percolation tests performed on October 6,
1993 , by Siegfried Engineering, Inc. , Consulting Civil Engineers. The
test holes reveal that the surface soils are underlain by clayey soil
to a depth of approximately three (31 ) feet. The observed percolation
rates are 50 . 0, 41 . 7 , 13 . 2 , 31 . 2 , and 20 . 8 minutes per inch for Test
Holes 1, 2 , 3 , 4 , and 6 , respectively. A deep percolation test was
performed for Test Hole 5 which resulted in a percolation rate of
13 . 2 minutes per inch.
b
t\ (Cont'd. )
4045 Coronado Ave. ■ Stockton, CA 95204-2396 ■ 209 943-2021 ■ FAX 209 942-0214
F:ILU17573LT.50110-12-93
