2 SECOR <br /> 16 International Incorporated <br /> February 1, 2001 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Subject: Domestic Well Installation Report (DW-2R) <br /> Ranch Market - Riverbank <br /> 23569 South Santa Fe Road <br /> Riverbank, CA <br /> SECOR Project 077.43040.003 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> SECOR International Incorporated (SECOR) submits this report to summarize the methods and <br /> . results of the installation of a domestic water well, DW-2R, located on the Pantoja Property at <br /> 23565, Riverbank, CA (Attachment 1, Figures 1 and 2) The well replaces the original domestic <br /> well, DW-2, located in the south central portion of the Pantona Property <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> On October 7, 1999, domestic well DW-2 was sampled and found to contain 38 parts-per-billion <br /> methyl-tert-butyl ether(Attachment 2, Table 1) Due to the presence of MtBE, domestic well <br /> DW-2 was re-sampled in November and December 1999 to confirm the presence of MtBE in the <br /> well Due to the presence of MtBE reported in water samples collected from domestic well DW- <br /> 2 in October, November, and December 1999, the RWQCB required well DW-2 be shut down <br /> In January 2000, DW-2 was shut down and a water line was run from the Ranch Market well <br /> DW-1 to the Pantoja Property On November 16, 2000, per the directives in the SJCEHD letter <br /> dated October 9, 2000, the water line running from DW-1 to the Pantoja Property was <br /> disconnected and replaced with a water tank supplied by Aero Pure Water Aero Pure Water <br /> supplied the holding tank with water on an as needed bases The holding tank supplied water to <br /> the Pantoja Property from November 16, 2000 until the replacement domestic well, DW-2R, was <br /> brought into service on January 18, 2001 Details related to installation of the replacement well <br /> are presented below <br /> File Ranch Market\Reports\DW-2 Install doe <br /> 3017 Kilgore Road, Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 916 861 0400 916 861 0430 Fax www secor com <br />
