9 <br /> Water Samples were obtained as follows <br /> A One full well volume of water was withdrawn from the well <br /> B The parameters of pH, conductivity and temperature were measured <br /> C A second and third well volume of water was withdrawn and the parameters <br /> remeasured If the results vaned by more than 10%, then step C was repeated <br /> D The well was allowed to recover to 80% of its original volume or until two hours <br /> passed , then a sample was withdrawn and placed in an appropriate container <br /> Purged water was placed in a drum, sealed and left northsite of the building <br /> pending analysis <br /> Each well location was surveyed to within 0 5 feet horizontally and to within 0 01 <br /> feet vertically The elevation to the top of the casing in each well was measured with a <br /> transit level and surveyors rod The leveling took place at least 24 hours after the casing <br /> seal and traffic box were set <br /> Using a PVC disposable bailer, water samples were taken at or near the surface of j <br /> the water table, unless otherwise indicated Water was placed within the prescribed <br /> container for the test required The containers were filled so that no headspace was <br /> present in the sealed vial, one drop of HCL was added, then they were placed in a cooler <br /> containing ice and delivered to the laboratory Samples were analyzed within 14 days of <br /> sampling Trip blanks accompanied all sample containers The sampler filled out Chain of <br /> Custody <br />
